PPP, Part 22, Angry-Femme IM and the Threefold Training

Greetings, Friendlies!

Last time I TMI’d you with the Angry-Femme Interpreter Module. Thanks for holding that. :)

Re-mixing the same with the Reactivity and Threefold Training stuff from Part 19.

The angry-feminist view has been known to cause a ruckus. Even when not manifesting behaviorally, it can lead to a lot of internal dukkha. Hypervigilance, distrust, indignation, resentment. Not nice.

Sīla as last line of defense. If you can’t say sumthin’ wise, don’t say nuthin’ at all. At the bare minimum, learning to shut my mouth when reactive. Maybe someday learning to open my mouth wisely, communicate so as to reduce avijjā and dukkha for myself and the other.

For Samādhi, there’s the Brahmaviharas. Metta in particular. Rewiring my brain for friendliness rather than defensiveness. Learning to calm the system. Sensitizing so that reactivity can be spotted earlier in the construction.

And Paññā, the exploration of the underlying reactivity. Recognizing it’s not just pattern recognition. There is a pattern seeking mechanism. There is a view that sex/gender bias exists in the world and the mechanism is seeking evidence to confirm the bias. It is this “confirmation bias” that I would eliminate if I could.

Also in the Paññā, the clinging around self. The separation and self-protection that leads to defensiveness and lashing out. Understanding deep in the organism that this one and that other one are part of a conditioned, constructed structure/system. Defensiveness and lashing out generally increase both dukkha and avijjā.
